I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if a former boss tries to scare you into signing something after you’ve already stopped working for them, DO. NOT. SIGN. ANYTHING. Don’t even sign a damn birthday card. You owe them nothing, and they probably don’t even have any leverage against you.
