Audacity can get people very far in life, even in times when they don’t deserve it. A confident demeanour will always open a lot of doors, but unfortunately, it’s also a trait that is easily abused. Charm often allows certain individuals to get away with some seriously unacceptable things, so it makes a refreshing change to see it deservedly backfire.

This was the case in a story told by u/thunderkerg, in which a former co-worker of his sister faced further consequences of actions that had already got him fired. After multiple female employees at the furniture store in which he worked revealed that they had been sexually harassed by him, he was swiftly terminated from his position. However, he didn’t seem to see the reason for his firing as that much of a problem — because not long afterwards, he called the head office requesting a reference for his new job.

Unsurprisingly, this ballsy move didn’t go to plan. While Redditors were relieved to see this creep get his comeuppance, they were also horrified at his attitude towards the whole thing. It shouldn’t have taken this long for there to be justice.
