Elder Millennials Reminisce Over Late 2000s Corporate Culture

I have some unfortunate news for everybody: babies born in 2010 will be turning 13 this year. The unrelenting passage of time is horrifying, I know. It won’t be long before Gen Z start to get old and creaky, but for now, it’s millennials that are staring down the midlife crisis.

This isn’t just about watching horrifying trends from your teens come back into fashion, either. All the things that have now gone extinct are just as good at making people feel old. Someone who is all too aware of this is @nikkijazzzzz, an elder millennial who stirred up some feelings by remembering all the things from her first corporate jobs that are now basically vintage.

People were nostalgic for a lot of what she mentioned, even if they wouldn’t be the most practical nowadays. Who knows, though? Maybe we’ll see a revival in resume paper sometime in the future.
