When I was a wee tot, my favorite playtime activity was fake cooking. I had a little wooden kitchen set with my mom’s old pots and pans and worn out utensils. I would spend hours stirring and humming at my little stove. Fake food still makes me happy, there’s something so satisfying about that particular kind of imagination.
