Every difficult task can be draining. And parenting can be quite the difficult task. Perhaps calling it a ‘task’ is not even appropriate. It’s more like a bunch of tasks that can come up at any hour of the day. You gotta stay on your toes as a parent. You gotta keep things light and funny and interesting. One technique we’ve seen go pretty far for many parenting is songwriting. But this is a different kind of songwriting, you don’t need a guitar or piano, or any actual musical skills. You just need a will and a way, and a child to sing to.

It seems to be a pretty common thing that parents sing things to their kids, and sometimes it’s as a way to get them to do their chores, to fall asleep, or just for fun.
