A lot of people in this world have no appreciation for beauty. So long as something works for us, they think, who cares if it looks ugly? It goes without saying that these people are big old dumdums. Being around things that look nice is good for the soul. Also, it makes us more inclined to spend money, as all the corporations who spend billions on savvy design teams realize. To have an eye for design is to be hopelessly cursed, because it makes you notice all the awful examples of it out there. Nonetheless, it also allows you to be a massive snob about everyone who lacks taste as well. The internet loves to joke about how graphic design is its passion, but there are only a select few who can claim this as the truth. We need those who know how to prettify things, and these memes would be inclined to agree.
