Not all generations have the bragging rights that Gen X has. I’m a card-carrying member of Generation Z, and aside from the novelty of being the current youngest generation with adults in it, there’s not much to brag about. My mom (cusp of Baby Boomer and Gex X) constantly says that Gen Z will save the planet. Based on what I’ve seen of my peers, I’m not sure I agree. 

Millennials have caught so many strays over the past 15 years. It’s wild to me that Baby Boomers projected the exact same grievances onto Millennials that their parents put on them in the 60s and 70s. It all boils down to «young people are entitled and self-centered,» which is hardly a hot take. 

Gen X is so cool because they seem to float above it all. They don’t care what Boomers and Millennials think of them, and I admire them for that. If you’re a Gen Xer looking to take a walk down memory lane, these memes will hit you right in the childhood.
