It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of the greatest superhero films of all time. The commercial and critical smash hit success quickly topped many people’s charts. It’s obviously no surprise that the franchise sequel Across the Spider-Verse has set Twitter ablaze.

It’s been five years since the first film and people have been champing at the bit for any new sequel detail, which is unsurprising considering the degree of craft and care put into the film’s animation. Finally, the wait is over. With one view of the trailer it can be confidently said: This sequel is going to rule.

Within hours of the trailer’s release, people have already studied and scrutinized every detail of the ridiculously detail-heavy trailer. That’s not to call it dense, it’s incredible. With every frame, you can tell that the studio behind Across the Spider-Verse has a passion for Spider-Man source material, and Twitter is loving the trailer.
