‘Option to declare email bankruptcy’: 25+ Wild fake product designs from ingenious UX designer

Some people use their powers for good, some use their powers for evil, and some use their powers for… chaos. That’s exactly what designer Soren Iverson has done with his «fake design a day» project that finds its home on Twitter. Iverson combines real-world user experience design skills with an instinct for satire, humor, and general buffoonery. He takes familiar software (Apple iOS, Slack, Google Teams) and drafts mockups of updates that look so real that you might be convinced by them, but are actually chaotically fake.

While some of his updates seem genuinely useful (like an alarm clock that makes you solve a trivia question), some of his updates would tear the social fabric in ways society might not recover from (like the ability to see who other people are messaging). The results are addictingly fun to look at. We’ve compiled some of the best ones here. Apple… pay attention.
