Redditors Despair of the Professions That People Make Their Entire Personality

There’s no denying that for most of us of working age, our jobs take up a big chunk of our lives. Even when they’re kind of boring, it’s understandable that they start to become a part of our identities if we stick with them for long enough. Not everyone we know is going to be as contented with this deal as we are, though. It’s not always a good sign when your profession becomes one of your main personality traits.

This is something that has been highlighted in a recent AskReddit thread, where Redditors had the opportunity to call out all of the kinds of work that people tend to make their personalities. There seem to be some running themes here, including unsociable hours, lots of training, or simply a wild working culture. You wouldn’t want to get stuck talking to some of these examples at a party, that’s for sure.
