Suspicious Company Gets Exposed for Hiring Fake Recruiter to Catch Out Current Employees

One of the most complained about phrases that employers have a habit of using is the claim that everyone who works there is ‘like family’. This is often a telltale sign that a. everyone there will fight, backstab and cause drama like extended families do or b. management are looking for a thinly veiled excuse to exploit you even more than they would usually do.

Still, some would find this preferable to feeling like there was no trust in their workplace at all. Some employers have a habit of talking up loyalty to the job, then doing something that couldn’t inspire it less.

This is what happened to one Redditor, who claimed their company had hired a fake recruiter to see if they would be tempted away from their current role. It’s fair to say that Twitter was not impressed with this behavior. Do the higher ups really want to be giving people more reasons to quiet quit
