Kids do not treat their teachers well. That’s such a well-known fact I don’t even think it’s fair to call it a «cold take.» When I was a teen, I was very sneaky about how I would resist the tyrannous will of my teachers. Me and my friend Brooks put a stink bomb in our Mormon science teacher’s classroom, causing it to get evacuated because they thought it was a gas leak. That was in middle school, and by the time I got into high school, I became much more sophisticated. I never stooped so low as to be rude to a teacher to their faces. I just called them all by their first names behind their backs and tweeted incessantly about anything they did that I didn’t like. I couldn’t (and didn’t) get in trouble for tweeting, and I was able to rally my fellow students to support all of my hot takes.
Teachers of Reddit came together to share all of the ways their students roast and insult them, and they seem to have a good sense of humor about it.
