It’s easy to forget if you’re one of the millions of people who works a soulless corporate job, but there are everyday individuals just like you or I who are making a genuine and obvious difference with their work. From the doctors, to the teachers, to the street cleaners, there so many who can definitely say they do something that society would collapse without. 

We could speculate that it’s not exactly a coincidence that some of these professions don’t get the respect, pay, or work/life balance that they deserve. Arguably, that’s also true for very many useless working roles in the world, so maybe that’s something to bond over. The memes that we see about the working world only underline our frustrations.
