We’re living in a new era where parents can document and share every second of their child’s life and post it online for the whole world to see. While I don’t have a problem with parents sharing pictures of their kids on private social media accounts, there’s one place where I draw the line. If there’s one thing I dislike, it’s family vlog channels. Imagine having every moment of your childhood publically available to strangers who feel like they know you. Imagine having to be «on» all the time when you’re home and never getting to have privacy for the rest of your life. It’s a horrible way for a child to live, and there are few government regulations on kids working this way. 

Most parents don’t take documenting their kid’s life online that far, but even well-intentioned parents can go too far. The mommy Facebook groups from my hometown had countless parents on public accounts sharing medical and other personal information about their children.
