I have a hot take that might upset some Disney stans. I don’t understand this Rachel Zegler hate train at all. For those of you who are unaware, Rachel Zegler is the actress who will be playing Snow White in the upcoming Disney-live action remake, and people are reading her left and right for no good reason. People are mad that she’s participating in the SAG strike, which doesn’t make any sense. Why wouldn’t she want to be fairly compensated for her work on a project by one of the richest companies in the world? People are also mad that she said that she was scared of Snow White as a kid and didn’t watch it regularly. If you have an issue with actors not being superfans of the characters they play before their cast, then you really don’t have any real problems to worry about. I will be seated for this Snow White adaptation because I don’t think we have a better up-and-coming singer/actress than Rachel Zegler, and I want to see her show her coloratura stuff. Whether you agree or disagree with this take, I hope this piping-hot tea won’t hurt your enjoyment of these Disney memes.
