It’s almost Halloween, and I, for one, am ready to sit down on my couch and binge some Disney Halloween movies! There was a point in the ’90s when the Disney Corporation came out with a new spooky Disney Channel Original Movie every year! Of all of them, none of those TV movies have stood the test of time more than Halloweentown. Hocus Pocus is obviously a classic, but it was blessed with a theatrical release! Halloweentown has gained legendary status with a $2 budget, an idealized fantasy town set that we’d all like to live in, and an elderly Debbie Reynolds in a supporting role! It takes the premise that so many Christmas movies have (what if there was a community that celebrated a holiday year-round) and extends it to the holiday that we’d actually like to experience 24/7/365. If you would rather watch a DCOM than go to a Halloween party this weekend, these Disney memes will be great for those commercial breaks.
