What’s the matter with kids these days? Why can’t they be like we were: perfect in every way? Every generation has gripes with «kids these days.» These days, kids are more rebellious and less hardworking than kids used to be! If you’re not a member of Gen Z or Generation Alpha, this thought might have crossed your mind a couple of times. If you’re a millennial parent, you might be «kids these days» curious, and I beg you to resist this urge! Don’t you remember when your dad made fun of you for liking Justin Timberlake? Is that the kind of adult you want to become? 

When you’re a parent, it’s easy to observe the difference between your childhood and the childhood your kids are having. Despite what we may think, kids today aren’t inherently different than kids in the 80s and 90s just because they have iPads.
