There are very few situations that won’t be improved by involving Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It’s pretty understandable that there would be scads of meme formats that shout out the cult classic. This particular format features the the Black Knight (John Cleese) after having his limbs cut off by King Arthur. The stump of a knight’s utterance of «Alright, we’ll call it a draw» is a classic quote. And it just so happens that it works brilliantly for history memes as well as gaming memes.
