Even after all of these years and all of these different iterations of meme culture, there are certain themes and topics that continue to reign supreme. For example, it’s hard to believe that any kind of relatable meme will ever go out of fashion, and we’ll always enjoy using humor to complain about things like relationships and work. 

Most importantly, though, when it comes to animals we will never surpass the domesticated cat for their powerful meme potential. They are just too funny to ignore, and the internet is too full of cat lovers to allow them to ever stop trending. As if that wasn’t enough, they know how to change with the times as well. Even if they didn’t, feline fans would find a way to make sure that everybody was getting their dose of funny cat memes whether they liked it or not. I for one have no complaints.
