It takes a certain kind of personality to be a true cat person. Often, this means that you’ve got to enjoy your own company, and also be accepting of the fact that you are ruled by your tiny, furry, meowing overlords rather than the other way around. Some research has suggested that those who prefer cats are generally smarter, and perhaps this leads into the most important trait of all: to love cats is to also love memes. 

I think it is genuinely difficult to find a cat lover who doesn’t adore cat memes. They’re funny, they’re cute, and they feature their favorite pet, what’s not to love?
