You may have seen that somebody edited a beard onto Mark Zuckerberg recently. Although it was fake, the general consensus seemed to be that it was a welcome improvement on the Zucc’s infamously uncanny valley face. It even led the man himself to ponder whether it was time for a makeover, ushering in a new era of tech mogul glow-up. 

At the end of the day, though, he’ll still be the same old awkward dude no matter what radical changes in appearance he puts himself through. The same could be said for the social media platform that made him famous. While it is a world away from its first iteration, Facebook is still at its core the slightly deranged town hall of the internet where locals congregate to give us all manner of wild and (not so) wonderful takes. It ain’t just your grandma who’s bringing the heat here, no matter what you might think.
