Forget whether or not you were a 90s kid. The real dealbreaker growing up was which branch of ancient history you were most interested in. Yeah, yeah, the Roman Empire may have become contemporary slang for something that people just can’t stop thinking about, but everyone who was a cool kid was into Ancient Greece and its mythology. 

Even today, the stories they gifted to the world inspire and entertain people of all ages. That’s kind of wild, considering how long ago it was and how dark most of these tales are. As if that wasn’t enough, this was also the society that provided us with the foundation of philosophical thought as we know it. Naturally, these are fine reasons to make memes about whatever the heck they had going on in the northeastern Mediterranean all those thousands of years ago. They had a sense of humor, although maybe not as wacky as this.
