Some memes are too good to keep to yourself. I think sending someone a meme is one of the ultimate forms of love. It’s a sweet and simple way to show you care, and that you’re thinking of them. Whenever I receive a meme from a friend, I feel like our bond has gotten that much stronger.

I’ll quickly tell you a horror story of meme sharing, though. When I was addicted to TikTok, I had a nasty habit of sleep scrolling. I’d fall asleep while on TikTok and my fingers would keep going without me. I once sleep-scrolled and accidentally sent a TikTok to a girl I was very peripherally friends with, and it wasn’t even a funny or interesting one. It was humiliating. I tried to tell her it was an accident, but that just made it seem like I was covering my own behind. The good news with these, though, is if you sleep send them to anyone, they’ll think it’s hilarious.
