The summer of George has come and gone, and now we’re shifting into soup mode. In my humble opinion, fall is the perfect time for a Seinfeld rewatch. It’s comforting, autumnal, and full of chunky sweater inspo (not to mention Goretex). What I would give to cozy up at a booth at Tom’s and order a chicken salad, on rye, untoasted, and a cup of tea. 

One of my favorite moments from Seinfeld is a minor one- almost blink and you miss it. It’s when Jerry’s foot falls asleep and he’s trying to wake it back up and Fred Yerkes says, «You’re lucky, at least you have something to do.» It’s perfectly Seinfeldian in its mundane absurdity. Sometimes you’re lucky just to have something to do. After all, it is a show about nothing. These memes celebrate that nothingness in all its relatable glory. But no double dipping!
