The internet is full of bad news, negativity, and discouraging attitudes. And what’s perhaps even worse are those phony saccharine motivational platitudes that are supposed to make everyone feel good about the world but mostly just make people feel more jaded. You know what I’m talking about—something like, «teamwork makes the dream work» in cursive text on some stock photo of a bed of flowers. Sorry, but that little inspirational Instagram quote is not going to make the infinite feed of upsetting news headlines any less distressing. This is all just to say that there is a type of wholesome content that’s absolutely bulletproof against negativity and bad vibes, and that’s cute animal memes.
