This past weekend was the (in)famous NYC marathon. This year, it was 26.2 miles long through all five boroughs and had over 50k runners involved. An absolute MONSTER of a marathon. Many New Yorkers come out to cheer on the runners and, we sure, many friends and family members from out of town come out to cheer on their NYC runners too. So the streets are packed with people and it’s a grand ‘ole time. For our fellow non-athletic people, our favorite part of the marathon is the witty signage. New Yorkers really know how to hit you with a quick hilarious one-liner, and this is the most evident when it comes to seeing everyone’s signs. The LOLs these signs caused us were powerful. Maybe not as powerful as the runners who ran through ALL FIVE BOROUGHS FOR OVER 20 MILES, but still pretty strong… Check ‘em out below!
