Long nights, infinite email inboxes, and late-night partner phone calls make up the majority of your life as a lawyer. We were all sold the idea of a sharp grey suit paired with a 2018, certified pre-owned BMW and a hot blonde wife–but here we are slogging through the trenches with 60-hour weeks, a heavy conscience, and an insatiable urge to argue. Being a lawyer ain’t easy and it’s not for the reasons anyone ever anticipated. 

However, the fun parts about being a lawyer sometimes show themselves during the week. You’re always entitled to shout, ‘I object!’ at any inconvenience and you’re probably becoming a coffee connoisseur because of all of the café meetings you’re taking. When you’re not in court and you’re not in the office fighting off the firm partners with a stick, maybe you can finally live out your dream of having your face on a billboard, carrying a leather briefcase, and maybe–just maybe–bringing some justice to the courtroom.
