I cannot claim to be a child of the 90s, but there have been points in my life where I identified as a «90s kid.» Let me explain: as a graduate of the high school class of 2018, half of our grade was born in 1999, and half was born in 2000. I was one of the blessed souls who got to live in the gay nineties for 3 glorious months. I know it might be hard to believe today, but back in 2014, being born in the 90s was a point of clout! We clung to the label of «90s kid» with all of our might despite the fact that we were functionally identical to our post-Y2K classmates.
