Cat owners would be in a very different place without their feline friends. They would have a lot more spending money, fewer messes to clean up in the middle of the night, and a worse excuse to dip when they’ve had enough of a social event. They would also have something vital missing, because for all they can often be a pain in the butt, cats bring many happy things into our lives. Half the time, they could care less about the entertainment, affection, and joy that they offer us, so long as they’re getting fed. 

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean it’s any less important. In fact, it often makes it even more fun. It’s also a big part of the reason they make such great memes. Cat-related content may be presented differently over the years, but the central premise remains the same. Cats are hilarious, and it’s easy to see why.
