People: we’re not that different from one another, when it comes down to it. Most of us share the same basic instincts and impulses, and form a part of billions-strong societies. Why is it, then, that there are individuals who act like they are the exception to a rule? Up to a point, it’s important for all of us to prioritize ourselves, but at the same time, this shouldn’t come at the expense of others who are trying to deal with their own thing.

Sadly, not everybody thinks like this. There are many out there who have a terminal case of main character syndrome, and feel like they should be allowed to inconvenience the rest of us at any cost. Sometimes, the only outlet for these frustrations is the sanctuary of the internet. Just because we’re the protagonist of our own lives doesn’t mean that it’s the same for everybody else.
