On the surface, you might not think that there are all that many similarities between TikTok and Reddit, apart from the fact that users on the former love to steal stories from the latter and get an AI voice to read them over a game of Subway Surfers. 

However, one trait that they do share is that they’re a place where you can find a community for just about anything. It might take a bit of digging, but whatever niche hobby or unpopular opinion you might have, there will be somebody on either platform who likely shares your interest. 

This is one of the most beautiful parts of being on the internet, although of course, both can be host to some of the less salubrious parts as well. We only have to look at the examples below to be reminded of this eclectic mixture, which continues to keep us on our toes.
