College is not for everybody. While some of us thrive in an academic environment, many people want to start their lives as soon as possible, and there is nothing wrong with that! As a society, we have pressured entire generations into attending college for prestige reasons when so many members of said generations would be better off if they pursued a trade. 

Some people leave college unwillingly. They desperately try to hang on after being on academic probation, but ultimately, they are forced to drop out. Others decide of their own volition, and by sending a single email, their academic career is over. One college student tried to drop out the latter way but quickly realized she had accidentally emailed the wrong university. Oopsie daisy! Whether this is a sign that she should’ve dropped out or a sign that she should’ve stayed in school is still yet to be seen.
