This post to r/MaliciousCompliance by Redditor u/KarenJoanne0 starts by explaining that the story is her husband’s malicious compliance tale. According to OP, when her husband was on his bachelor party with friends, he attempted to order a cheeseburger with bacon at the hotel they stayed at. The guy behind the counter for some reason acted like a cheeseburger with bacon was impossible; only cheeseburgers or bacon burgers were served, apparently. 

OP’s husband made the smart choice and asked for two burgers: one cheeseburger, and one bacon burger. For some reason, the employee was infuriated when OP did the obvious and placed the bacon from the bacon burger onto his cheeseburger and left the second burger behind.
