Self-proclaimed dating expert @TheManMakerx went viral on Twitter after prompting his followers to explain how they would respond to passing an attractive female stranger on a bridge. The absurdity of the situation was pointed out by @KindaHagi, who compared the hypothetical interaction with a real human woman the same as trying to catch the attention of a video game NPC.

With this connection made, people couldn’t stop making fun of the creepy teaching moment. Needless to say, treating women like virtual characters is not usually a recipe for success.
