It is a truth universally acknowledged that many weird baby names are circulating right now. I know that it can be old hat to make fun of baby names that are spelled strangely or are just nouns, but I can’t help it. I genuinely do not see the point of naming your kid something absurdly unique to the point where it’s almost impossible to pronounce. I’m not talking about names that come from another country that Americans might have to sound out a bit: I’m talking about these word salad names that seem to only exist in white American suburbs. Don’t come here and tell me that Brixley or Horch are family names…if they are, they need to end with this generation.
