‘They invented looksmaxxing for cats’: Feline fan judges cats based on their chins, causes panic on Twitter

As might be expected when many of us spend a lot of our time staring at our likeness on screens, society is becoming increasingly image-obsessed. People want to look like TikTok filters, or so the horror story goes, and it leads them down the path of mewing, or even bonesmashing. Just as ridiculous as it sounds, it’s as much a meme as it is a legitimate phenomenon.

It, therefore, makes sense that this bone structure-obsessed reasoning has somehow managed to reach beyond weirdos poring over every inch of a selfie from a stranger on the internet. Now our feline friends are part of the equation, specifically when it comes to having a ‘weak’ or ‘strong’ jawline. Predictably, Twitter went wild with this newfound theory and even tested it on different kinds of cats. Here’s hoping it doesn’t get enough people taking it seriously enough to expand the looksmaxxing trend even further.
