Welcome back, Tolkien-heads! There are a limited number of predictable things in this world, and we all know about death and taxes. Only those who are truly clued in to all things Lord of the Rings related realize there’s a secret third thing, and that’s Tolkien Tuesday. When it comes to these memes, we can’t claim to be the only gig in town. 

However, we like to think that we’re one of the OGs. We pride ourselves on bringing some of the most entertaining internet remixes of the Lord of the Rings franchise, as well as The Hobbit if you’re nasty.

It’s pretty wild to see the continuing popularity of a series of movies that started over twenty years ago, that are based on novels even older than that. It’s a testament to their quality, as well as how easy they are to turn into stupid memes. We’ve gotta be grateful for that.
