A domesticated cat is one of those animals that it would be a dream to reincarnate as. Provided you go to the right home, all you do all day is sleep, receive affection, and get fed at regular intervals. If your owner is a particularly crazy cat person, you get a bucketload of fun toys and distraction, too. 

It’s true, being somebody’s feline companion can be a pretty sweet deal. Just because you’re technically ‘owned’ by a person doesn’t mean you have to answer to them. As if that wasn’t good enough, your cuteness and entertainment value combine to make the perfect concoction for internet fame. 

Cat memes have had a long and successful life over the years, and they’re showing little sign of slowing down now. There’s just too much content out there to let it go to waste. Plus, we all enjoy them too much to stop putting them out in the world.
