I feel like one of the things that ages me most is that I remember a time when Facebook was cool. Like, people other than your elderly relatives and your former classmate who is part of an MLM used to post on there on a regular basis. The highs, the lows, the house parties that people brought digital cameras or primitive iPhones to, it was all on there! It was a simpler time on the internet.

This isn’t to say that the place is completely irrelevant now. Many users have simply changed how they approach it—for example, joining groups with particularly niche interests.
