I have always been blessed with a willingness to try new things with food, and this makes me pity fussy eaters. There are so many mouthwatering cuisines out there that get missed out on by the kinds of people who count tomato paste on a slice of pizza as a vegetable. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that there are legitimate conditions and sensory issues that can contribute to a limited palate. However, it is possible to be picky without making a scene about it.

Unfortunately, social media users who want their viral moment disregard this basic act of politeness. This has recently been shown in a TikTok where a woman shows herself trying different sushi for the first time, and having a dramatic, disgusted reaction. When the video hit Twitter, many disapproved of her unnecessarily extra behavior. If all picky individuals acted like this when expanding their horizons, they would be better off sticking to the tendies.
