Like the truly pathetic workcel I am, having a job is one of the main things that gives me purpose. I don’t have much reason to get out of bed in the morning unless I’ve got memes to hunt down, and BS to write. Our lives shouldn’t revolve around work as much as they do, but there is no denying that we can sometimes get a sense of satisfaction from the fact that we kind of contribute to the economy in a semi-productive way. We have to take some pride in that occasionally, because otherwise a lot of people would find it hard to keep going. Unless you’re following a dream, or you’re a professional at lying down or something, work is never going to be a fun and fulfilling experience all of the time. As a result, we have a whole batch of memes dedicated specifically to complaining about it.
