Every gamer needs the perfect gamer chair. It can’t be just any chair. No, it has to have the right amount of give to be comfortable, but the right amount of uprightness to keep you from falling asleep. You can game in any chair, but that doesn’t mean you should. You could game in the bleachers of your son’s little league baseball game, but you probably shouldn’t. You could game on the benches in front of the paintings at MoMA, but you probably shouldn’t do that either. 

No, the perfect place to the game is in a room of one’s own, with a drink of one’s choice, yelling obscenities into your microphone knowing that nobody in your direct vicinity can hear you. Gamer chairs can run you a lot, though, so you might be stuck in a plain old office chair that doesn’t do much for your lumbar. So in that case, you’d be wise to take some breaks every now and again.
