DnD is a great way to pass those long summer nights. The sun doesn’t set until late which means you have all the daylight in the world to fight dragons, cast spells, and make some friends in the process. As an adult, it can be an unnecessary mind trick to try and figure out what to do after work. If you don’t have plans, it’s like infinity stretches out before you and presents you with a million options. You could just go home and watch TV. You could go see a movie, though it’s a beautiful day, and who wants to be inside on a beautiful day? 

You could go get ice cream, though you’ve been trying to eat less sugar recently. Then the perfect plan floats across your mind– call up some buddies and get a game of Dungeons and Dragons going. Heck, it doesn’t even have to be an already in-progress campaign, it can be a one-shot. As long as you’re playing.
