If it’s summer and I turn down an invitation to go on a walk to get ice cream, call the police because I’ve been body-snatched. There are few things in life I love more than a warm but breezy summer night and a stroll through the neighborhood, and to end that stroll with a soft serve cone with sprinkles… is just the cherry on top of that cone. It’s the perfect treat when the weather gets warm. Sweet, cooling, creamy, delicious, I could go on. There are very few ice cream flavors that I don’t respect. Everyone has a place in the beautiful spectrum of ice cream flavors. 

I’m partial to a Ben and Jerry’s anything, though, since I’m a fan of chunks of any kind. Whatever it is, if it’s sweet or salty, I want chunks of it in my ice cream. That’s not to say there’s not a place for a simple vanilla cone. Sometimes simplicity is sublime.
