Friends don’t let friends go without good memes. It’s one of the tenets of friendship. You need to keep each other well supplied with funny stuff, or else you’ll quickly fall into the pits of boringness together, and you certainly don’t want that. It’s a good idea to keep things interesting. Just as you would spice up a relationship with a special dinner date, you can spice up a friendship with an awesome meme that just tickles your friend’s funny bone. I find that an unsolicited meme can be a wonderful thing for a friend. 

I’ve never been upset about getting a meme. I’ve only ever been delighted. I’m sure you and your friends feel the same way. Memes are the currency of friendship. So is quality time and words of affirmation, but memes are also a love language. It shows that you care enough to screenshot.
