The best of us know how to game with reckless abandon. We know how to take 5 days of PTO just to lock in and play video games. We realize that this is just as relaxing as taking a vacation to an all-inclusive resort, and plus it’s way cheaper. Gamers don’t let the hour of the day dictate whether or not they’re gaming. They don’t let their level of sleep determine how much energy they’re going to put into their RPGs. They don’t care if they’ve eaten all day, they’re going to finish that round and they’re going to finish it now.
Because true gamers have their priorities straight. They know how to get what they want, and what they want is uninterrupted gaming time. But the best thing to go along with that is memes. Memes take gaming to a whole other level. They make us enjoy the games we love even more, and they help us take our fandom to the next level. Some of the internet’s earliest memes were about gaming, and the legacy has continued strong.
