There’s a quote from The Office that never fails to hit me in the feels. In the show’s finale, Andy Bernard (Ed Helms) wistfully says «I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you actually left them.» For some people, the good old days were before any adult responsibilities. For others, it was a whole damn era. The latter seems to be the case for a lot of millennials. All over the internet we see memes about teachers rolling the bulky, bulbous TVs of yore into a 00’s classroom, tweets that glorify AIM away messages or Blockbuster Video. So while we may not have realized what we had ‘til it was gone, at least we have memes that capture the special vibes.
