Waking up is one of the worst things that we have to do as humans. We’re blessed (or cursed) with the love of sleep. Once we’re in it, we’re having a great time. It’s one of the best feelings in the world, especially when you’re going back to sleep after your alarm already woke you up. It’s like the angels are guiding you back home to a land where everything is beautiful and nothing hurts. But we’re also cursed with the obligation of having to eventually get up (probably sooner than we’d like) and start the day.
How do we know that our sleep life isn’t real life and that whatever we do while we’re awake is an illusion? We may never know. But we do know that we do not want to be bothered in the morning. We want to wake up slowly and get ourselves used to things.
