The Best Marvel Memes of the Week (October 10, 2025)

My opinion of a Marvel movie is heavily shaped by when and where I watched it for the first time. Watching Black Panther in a sold-out audience on opening weekend was such a fun experience that I’ll never forget. When I rewatched it on my iPad for a film class in college, I was grateful that I hadn’t watched it this way for my first viewing. It was so much more underwhelming to watch it on such a small screen by myself, but the memory of the first viewing stayed with me.

I know that more and more people don’t care about going to the movie theater and will wait until anticipated films get released on Disney+ a month or two after they come out in theaters. I understand not wanting to shell out $18 when you’re already paying around that every month to get movies at home, but IMHO nothing beats the experience of being in the movie theater. You should at least pay the $20 to watch an intense action movie in theaters, because it’s really not worth watching any other way. A quiet drama I can do at home, but a big, flashy superhero movie will never be as fun sitting on your couch as it will be in surround sound on a movie theater recliner.
