«Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my!» This line from The Wizard of Oz is regarding the most terrifying predators of the world. Look, we all know that if faced with any of the above creatures, we should at least attempt to escape or defend ourselves. So, why are they so damn cute? Bears, in particular, have a way of making us turn soft and say «Aww» when we see them rolling around in a field or bouncing around looking for food. They’re not only adorable, but they’re some of our favorite characters in kids’ movies. Special shout out to Baloo of The Jungle Book fame in particular. 

It’s honestly cruel that we have to go through life without experiencing the joy of having a cute and fuzzy bear friend around at all times. Sure, there are dogs that kind of resemble bears, but it’s just not the same. To help assuage the pain, and enjoy the cuteness of bears vicariously, we’ve put together a big ol’ batch of bear-related memes. They’re not all cute, but we’ll take what we can get.
